What a great game! Just finished it! If you like classic adventure games like space quest and kings quest, then play this game. Even the story has such a great plot. I loved it! I could see this being made into an amazing movie. So simple. So Classic. I will play through the story again soon. Please make more stories with this Character! Thanks

The best game I’ve played in a long while. Really good 2D graphics, good story line, excellent puzzles - which are not like "puzzle puzzles”; they’re in context with the story, not hanoi towers, slide puzzles, sudoku or hidden object scenes. You have to actually figure out what to do next. There is no hint system, but walkthroughs can be had on the www. It took me several weeks to finish, playing whenever I had a new idea on how to proceed. I hope they do a follow-up game….

If you like this kind of puzzle solving games this will keep you entertained and satisfied. Great story. Puzzles not too difficult. Well worth the price. Well done MP Digital!

Really interesting game, compelling story, and the puzzles are all logical and doable. It is very “linear”, but that is just this style of game. To me it was not a negative because you were always confined to your one area to work on, and every puzzle could be solved in that little bit of space with the objects in it. No running around like crazy and no grinding.

I remember playing the demo for this game long ago and when I saw that a full version was finally available, I was very excited. It’s a very cool take on a p oint and click adventure with time-travel elements seemlessly weaved into the gameplay and puzzles. Definitely worth the money I paid!

Sometimes the puzzles are tough, sometimes they’re pretty easy. Sometimes the dialogue is poor, but the voice acting is acceptable. Sometimes the audio stops working, but the game never crashed and the puzzles were interesting and kept my attention. I look forward to a sequel.

A fun point and click with an interesting storyline and a couple of good twists. The puzzles were challenging enough to keep you interested without driving you crazy. Played it straight through and it took me about 5 hours.

I loves every minute of this exiting probablem solver game. If you want a game with an awesome story, and intense actions scenes. The only 2 complaints I have is the price for how short it took me and once you play it you can’t really enjoy it again. Overall great game and I think would be awesome for a youtube series.

Storyline makes no sense, random situations that are bsically pulled out of thin air and actually boring - no sense of involvement or urgency to solve the situations. Might be good for the kids or younger teen. If you’re an intelligent adult, you might want to give this game a pass.

There is no way to fail, all clues are basically handed to you in a very obvious manner. Requires no critical thinking skills whatsoever. Good for young kids maybe.

When a friend reccomended The Silent Age to me, a 2d puzzle game, I honestly didn’t know what to expect at first. After playing it, I can say it is worth every cent of your money although it is short in length. The story is absolutly fantastic. Its a smart tale about the time travel and the affects on the mind and repercussions on reality. The characters are great and the voice acting is superb. I always wanted to keep playing, especially when it was over. My hopes are up for a sequel or maybe another game like this from the small independent studio.

The puzzles move along well enough that you can keep the story going, and the atmosphere is amazing; just the background sounds, the little bits of music, the sort of empty feel of everything during this strange time-travel piece, it’s like a moving work of art that you interact with. Some folks are saying the puzzles are too easy but they weren’t for me; I’m glad this game doesn’t have some of the odd and frankly disturbing gameplay expectations of some earlier point-and-clicks (talk to people in the correct order to unlock something you already knew to do, etc.). A highly impressive and holistic piece of art, one of my favorites from 35 years of playing games.
